It is not a matter of being stupid to click on a sponsored linked.  Sometimes they are truly what the user is looking for.  A smart web searcher knows that the sponsored links are more likely to link to someone selling something - they have to be making money somehow to pay for the links - and when the searcher wants to buy something it makes the sponsored link a &lt;em&gt;better&lt;/em&gt; option then the organic result.  I am guessing that you don&#039;t use Google to find a high quality product to buy, but are looking for a &quot;good enough&quot; free alternative.  That is fine.  But not everyone is like you.  Some people want to buy a high quality product and view the company&#039;s willingness to pay for his attention a sign they are serious.</description>

		<description>I can&#039;t believe that 20 percent of internet users click on the sponsored links.  I never click on them, in fact, I barely even look at them.  Are people really that stupid to not understand the difference between a paid link and a real results?</description>
